Child hunger is an issue of serious concern locally and nationally.  In fact, over 4,000 children in Northeast Tennessee have been classified by their counselors as “chronically hungry,” meaning that their level of hunger occurs with dreadful consistency. Click here to learn more.

SNAP (formerly known as the Food Stamp Program) helps provide healthy food to more than 37 million people every month, but it does not reach all eligible people.
