How We Work

HOW DOES THE FOOD BANK WORK?

Food is donated by manufacturers, retailers, food vendors and food drives.

Food is received and stored at the Food Bank’s 112,000 Square Foot warehouse in Kingsport, Tennessee.

Agencies pick up food from the warehouse.

Agencies distribute food they get from the Food Bank to those in need.

Member agencies include Food Pantries, Children's Programs, Soup Kitchens and Shelters.

COUNTIES SERVED: Hancock, Hawkins, Sullivan, Washington, Unicoi, Carter, Johnson and Greene
