During the Fall and the season of holiday giving the gift of your time is priceless. There are two ongoing projects that need your time and attention. The Food for Kids Program needs volunteers to pack backpacks that will be given to children that go home on the weekends knowing they will not have enough nutritious food to eat. Sorting food is the second project that is available for individuals and groups. As the Spring food drives kick into high gear more people will be needed to sort the donations.

May 10 Let's "Stamp Out Hunger" with the Letter Carriers Food drive - locations throughout Northeast Tennessee. Volunteers are needed to help Letter Carriers unload food at post offices.

Saturday, May 10 is a special Taste event in Kingsport to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank and volunteers will be needed throughout the day and evening.

Volunteers are welcome during regular operating hours from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Saturday volunteer opportunities are may be scheduled. If you are interested please call Carolee.
